Base offers a refund policy for their customers. Customers are eligible for a full refund (excluding the 4% refund processing fee) before their starter kit is mailed out or before their lab order is sent for processing. If the test kit has been sent but the sample hasn't been sent to the lab, customers are eligible for a 70% refund. Kits and lab orders must be used within six months of purchase, and orders over 60 days old are not eligible for any refund. After the Improvement Program is charged, customers are eligible for a full refund before any credits have been used or a 50% refund after the kit has been shipped. Unfortunately, customers won't be eligible for a refund after their test results have been uploaded. The company processes refunds within 5-10 business days, and customers shouldn't mail back their physical kit as it can't be reused. Base reviews refund requests on a case-by-case basis within 60 days of purchase.
