What customers love about Retrospec

Here's what shoppers have to say:
  • The Retrospec Harper offers a wide range of color choices and combinations with a gloss paint and finish that is highly attractive to buyers.
  • With minimal working parts, the Retrospec Harper requires minimal maintenance, making it an ideal choice for many riders.
  • Many consumers describe the hi-tensile steel frame as impressively lightweight, making it easy to handle and maneuver.
  • The ‘Flip-Flop’ rear hub allows the option of riding in either singlespeed or fixed-gear mode, giving riders more flexibility in how they use the bike.
  • The Retrospec Harper is an affordable option compared to other fixies and singlespeeds, as well as other commuter bikes.
  • Instructions for assembly are easy to follow, making it possible to assemble the bike from scratch in just fifteen minutes.
  • The coaster-brake option provides a simple version of the bike that doesn't require brake setup or assembly.
  • The bike has room to fit beefier road tire widths, and Retrospec has responded to customer demand by offering larger tires as standard to cope with rougher terrain.
  • The bike comes with fittings for dual bottle cages and eyelets for front and rear racks, making it a versatile option for commuters.
  • Commuters are satisfied with the gear ratio, which is suitable for riding on all kinds of low hills and flat terrain.
Cons
  • The quality of some components is subpar, leading to issues with braking, pedals, cranks, and other parts
  • Some buyers have reported missing parts or a lack of instructions
  • The saddle may not be comfortable for all riders
  • The Retrospec Harper may not be suitable for all riders due to sizing and gear ratio issues
