Thistle is a plant-based food brand founded in 2013 by a team of individuals with a passion for improving human health and reducing environmental footprints. Thistle's mission is to make nutritious, plant-based foods accessible and convenient for everyone. All of their food is gluten- and dairy-free, organic when possible, and nutritionally designed to help customers feel energized and focused throughout their day. Thistle takes a community approach and partners with local organizations to give back to the communities they work with. They also prioritize sustainable sourcing and take care to reduce their energy, water, and waste footprints across their supply chain. Thistle sources their fruits, vegetables, and nuts from local farms that provide the highest quality ingredients in a sustainable way and that treat their workers with respect.

Thistle offers shipping across the entire state of California where local delivery does not apply, and parts of NV, AZ, WA, OR, and ID. The brand's shipping policy only offers shipments on Mondays and/or Thursdays by 8pm, depending on delivery schedule options in the customer's area. There is no shipping fee for any of the plans offered by Thistle. For the Essentials Box, prices start at $84/box, while the Enhanced Box starts at $96/box. The Cold-Pressed Juice Box costs $60/box, and the Lite Bites Box is priced at $76/box. Unfortunately, Thistle cannot accommodate allergies, substitutions, or modifications of any kind for any of the plans offered. Customers will receive an email from the brand's shipping provider, Ontrac, with a tracking number that will allow them to locate their box while it's en route to them. Thistle hopes to expand to new states in the future.

Thistle offers a return policy for dissatisfied customers. If a customer is unhappy with a meal or other product, they must contact Thistle at hello@thistle.co within seven (7) days of receiving the product. Depending on the circumstances, Thistle may replace the product at their expense, provide a full or partial refund of the purchase price, or provide credits for the product that will be automatically applied to future deliveries under the customer's meal subscription.
