SM Pass Insider members receive free standard shipping, while SM Pass VIP, SUPERSTAR, and ICON members receive free 2-day shipping on orders over $50. Two-day shipping costs $18, while next day shipping costs $30. However, expedited shipping is not available outside the 48 states. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska costs $24.95 per order and arrives within 7 business days. Shipping to US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Guam costs $24.95 per order and takes 1-2 weeks for delivery. Military and air force base customers pay $14.95 per order and receive their packages in 1-2 weeks.

Steve Madden accepts returns of unworn merchandise within 30 days of delivery, except for clearance items, which are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Returns can be made in person at a Steve Madden store or via mail using a shipping label obtained from the Returns Center. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Gift cards and e-gift cards cannot be returned or refunded. Clearance items, masks, mask filters, and earrings may not be returned or exchanged. Steve Madden guarantees against manufacturer's defects. Normal wear and tear does not qualify. If an item does not fit, customers can exchange it for a different size or color by placing a new order and calling customer service to get a return authorization and a prepaid FedEx shipping label.
