Birch by Helix offers free shipping to all fifty states for all their products except for the mattress, adjustable base, foundation, and wood frame. The Birch Natural Mattress ships within 5-10 business days, while the Birch Luxe Natural Mattress ships within 1-4 weeks with no-contact delivery. Items ship separately, and customers receive FedEx tracking and estimated delivery dates via email. Canadian orders include shipping fees added to the order total at checkout, depending on the items in the cart, and local duties and taxes assessed after completing the shipping address in the checkout process.
Birch by Helix offers a 100-night sleep trial for all of their products, except for the Adjustable Base. Customers can return their items any time within the trial period, but must give the Birch mattress at least 30 nights to break in and adjust before deciding to return it. There is a $99 removal fee for all mattress returns, and unopened packages that are returned or refused for delivery are also subject to the fee. Birch does not offer a direct exchange program, and only two mattresses may be returned per customer or household. Refunds for all other products are free of charge and will include a full refund to the original method of payment. The company does its best to donate, recycle, or repurpose all returned mattresses, and the $99 fee will be deducted from the refund total once issued by the team.
