Schoolhouse offers shipping both domestically and internationally. For domestic shipping, shipping costs are calculated as a percentage of the order total based on the current USPS and UPS rates, up to 10% of the order total based on the weight of the product ordered and size of the box required. International orders are shipped using UPS World Wide Expedited, a door-to-door service that accounts for duties, brokerage, and any taxes that may occur in customs. Shipping costs for international orders are calculated based on box weight and size after all items are added to the shopping cart. Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge, but it does not affect the production timeline of the products. The production lead time for each product is estimated and can be found on the product page. Once an order is shipped, tracking information will be sent to the email on file and will also be available on the customer's account page. Some items, such as furniture or rugs, may not be eligible for international shipping.

Schoolhouse's return policy varies depending on the product. Customers can find return availability on the product page or order confirmation. Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original factory condition, and must be sent back within 30 days of delivery. Domestic returns for store credit include free shipping, but returns for refunds will have a $14.99 deduction to cover shipping and restocking. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. International returns are also accepted, but a prepaid shipping label cannot be provided, and duties and taxes will be deducted from the refunded amount. Furniture, custom length pendants/chandeliers, ceiling fans, and door sets are non-returnable, and orders of 10 or more light fixtures are final sale items and non-returnable.
