Rooted was founded in 2018 by Ryan and Kay with a mission to reconnect people to nature. They believe that having greenery in your space can positively impact your mental, emotional, and physical health. Rooted offers a one-stop shop for affordable plants that are homegrown at their greenhouse and shipped for free. They also provide fresh and educational content to guide customers on their plant journey. Rooted started by throwing "plant parties" out of their Brooklyn apartment and personally delivering plants by hand. Since then, they have opened three stores across NYC and moved 100% of their services online. Rooted promises to continuously work towards their mission and put their customers first.

Rooted is a brand that ships anywhere in the contiguous US (48 states) but does not currently offer international shipping. Orders are typically shipped within 2-4 days of being placed, with the aim to get them out sooner. However, the brand does not fulfill orders on national holidays. Plants are shipped from their greenhouse in Florida and delivery may take between 3-5 business days depending on the destination. Shipping cost varies based on distance traveled and total cart size, starting at $4. Orders over $85 ship free, excluding third party merchandise. Shipping fees are non-refundable after a package has been dispatched. During inclement weather, shipments may be delayed for the safety of the plant.

Rooted, a plant brand, does not accept returns for plant orders as they believe that plants are like friends and should not be returned. However, if the plant or planter arrives damaged, customers should contact Rooted immediately with pictures of the damage to hello@heyrooted.com, and they will take care of the issue. The brand does not accept returns on accessories, supplies, or merchandise.
