DTCetc’s Take

About Homesick

Homesick is a company founded in 2016 by two friends who wanted to capture the spirit of memories in a way that felt personal and recognizable to everyone. They believe that it takes a community to make a candle, and that's why they speak to anywhere from 30 to 100 people for every candle they develop. Homesick offers almost 200 different products representing all the things that matter most - from every US state, to multiple cities and countries, to occasions, people and moments. Their candles are poured in small batches with a natural soy wax blend, have 100% organic cotton wicks, and are made with essential oils to deliver a long-lasting, great-smelling burn. Homesick candles are also cruelty-free, non-toxic and contain no lead, plastics, paraben, phthalates or synthetic dyes. Homesick candles are as unique as your memories, and they are sure to bring a sense of nostalgia and comfort to any home.

Homesick's Shipping Policy

Homesick offers both domestic and international shipping options, with standard shipping taking anywhere from 2-10 business days for domestic orders. International shipping typically takes up to 3 weeks to arrive, depending on the location selected. The brand currently offers international shipping to Canada at a flat rate of $9.99, and to certain European countries at a rate of $11.99. Customers can expect international packages to take up to two weeks to arrive, although it may be faster. It's important to note that international shipping does not qualify for free shipping, and customers may experience delays outside of the defined shipping time due to customs and logistics. If an order has not been delivered based on the brand's guidelines, they will refund any shipping costs and provide a discount for future orders.

Homesick's Return Policy

Homesick offers a hassle-free return and exchange policy for their candles. Customers can request a return or exchange within thirty days of purchase as long as the candle is in its original condition and packaging. However, Homesick cannot accept returns of candles that have been lit, unless a manufacturing defect is present. To initiate the refund process, customers need to head to the Homesick returns website with their order number and associated zip code. If the item is eligible for return, customers can print a prepaid label, track the package, and receive a refund estimate. Refunds typically take 1-2 weeks to be reflected in the customer's account. Personalized items cannot be cancelled or returned, except for defects.
