Backdrop is a color and design studio based in Los Angeles founded by Caleb and Natalie Ebel. The brand approaches color as a material to set mood and create atmosphere in spaces. In 2021, Backdrop joined F. Schumacher & Co., a heritage design house established in 1889.

Free shipping
Backdrop offers fast and free standard shipping on all orders of paint and supplies to the contiguous 48 states in the US as well as Canada. Orders are typically processed within 24 hours and shipped via FedEx/UPS Ground, which takes an average of 1-3 business days. Samples ship for $2 via USPS or $5 via FedEx Ground Shipping, both with an average shipping time of 3-5 business days. Schumacher wallpaper products are shipped separately from Backdrop items and take about 48 hours to ship for in-stock products. Unfortunately, Backdrop is unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes.
Backdrop return policy
90-day return window
Backdrop accepts returns of unopened, unused single gallon paint and supplies within 90 days for a $10 restocking fee per item, with refunds to the original payment method. After 90 days, returns receive store credit instead. Sample stickers and apparel are final sale.
